A shared pantry app for roommates and families

The failure mode of a shared kitchen is that nobody knows what anyone else has bought, so three people buy milk and nobody buys bin bags. SeePantry lets up to six people share one kitchen, one shopping list and one meal plan, updating in real time, while still letting you keep your own things separate.

Personal and household, on the same shelf

Every item can belong to you or to the household. Your own oat milk stays yours, the shared cupboard stays shared, and the distinction carries through to the shopping list and to what gets shared when you send someone a link.

One list, updated as people shop

Anyone can add to the shared list, and it updates for everyone the moment they do. In the aisle, checking something off is visible to the rest of the house immediately, which is the part that actually stops duplicate buying.

Meal planning that survives more than one cook

The weekly plan is shared too, so whoever is cooking on Thursday can see what is planned and what is missing. One tap sends every missing ingredient for the week to the shared list.

Common questions

What app can roommates use to share a pantry?
SeePantry supports up to 6 household members on the Family plan, sharing one kitchen, shopping list and meal plan with real-time sync. Items can be marked personal so shared and private things do not get mixed up.
Can I keep some items private in a shared kitchen?
Yes. Each item is scoped either to you or to the household, and that scope also controls what appears when you share your list with someone outside the group.
Do all members need to pay?
No. The Family plan covers the whole household of up to 6 people under one subscription.
